LaFayette was born in Germany in the 1950, during the cold war.  Struggling with this auspice, even  before the first changed, he joined the Bundeswehr but proved too undisciplined and prone to violent outbursts.  Post military discharge he joined the Foreign Legion and the First Change came upon him, after being shot in the chest, during the Rhodesian Bush War. He was found, in the midst of a frenzy, by a lone Silent Strider who subdued him and carried him to the Sept of the Healing Dawn in Egypt, run by the Children of Gaia. 

Argetsinger was from a lost bloodline, he grew up without knowing Garou existed and without the discipline to control his natural rate, let along that granted by his auspice.  That he did not unintentionally break the Litney is a miracle from Gaia and Luna both. 

The Children of Gaia taught Argestsinger control and disciple, to harness his rage and to pursue the path of peace.  

For years he wandered, with his pack Friedfertiger, and developed a skill for making peace between waring faction and earned the respect of even the most bloodthirsty of Garou and the enmity of the Wyrm's servants. 

In the mid-2010s Argestsinger learned he had inherited a vineyard from a distance, and once prominent, family member who had moved to the US in the 1850s. After the passing of his pack, he moved to the Seneca Lake region, in semi-retirement, to join the Sept of the Hand of Gaia to help with the diplomacy efforts and was instrumental in convincing the Bastet to join the sept.
